Frozen Summer Fun! This was truly an incredible show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios this summer (and it wasn’t just because my favorite princess was there!). I will miss getting to listen, and screech along with, Let It Go accompanied by some excellent fireworks. Farewell Frozen Fireworks! Until next time…

If you don’t know what the Greatest International Scavenger Hunt the World Has Ever Seen is, then you should check out their site. But basically it is an online scavenger hunt hosted by Misha Collins in partnership with Random Acts where crazy people get one week and a team of 15 to check off as many ridiculous items on the GISHWHES list by uploading videos or images. Some of the items on the list in the past have included condiment Captain Picard art, eight-people braids and “Carry On My Wayward Son” played in a variety of ways. Each year, every team has to come up with a logo and so I put together a series of variations for my sister’s team this year. We shall see if they pick it!

Monterey Bay Aquarium

Day eight we went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Much like the National Aquarium in Baltimore, Maryland, the Monterey Bay Aquarium had jellyfish, stingrays, sharks, sea otters and a ton of fish. I think the sea otters were my favorite to watch, however they never really posed for the camera. The jellyfish were much better fit for posing.
